Ken Burrough is the Founder and CEO of South Florida’s Black Professionals Network.

Since relocating to South Florida from Los Angeles, by way of Portland, Oregon in August 2011 he has been overseeing and managing all social media platforms, marketing campaigns, events, collaborations, negotiations and business operations.

Prior to founding the Network, Ken served in the United States Marine Corps where he completed two years of advanced avionics training and a year plus supporting ground to air communications between the Mobile Air Traffic Control Unit (MATCU-66) and assault aircraft in Okinawa, Japan. He earned the rank of Corporal before being honorably discharged.

Subsequently Mr. Burrough has provided on-site technical support for an array of Fortune 500 businesses and diverse computer technologies across multiple markets including Aerospace, Architectural, Networking, Telecommunications, Financial and Retail over a 35 year career. He’s also consulted, managed, built and sold computer systems.

In his spare time he freelances as a videographer. He has shot and produced promotional video for ICABA Media Holdings, LLC, 100 Black Men of Tampa Bay, African-American Research Library & Cultural Center, Juneteenth Festival of St. Petersburg, the Infinite Scholars Program and a host of entrepreneurs and artists. His work has been broadcast on the Bright House Network and posted by Moffitt Cancer Center.

Born on Tulsa’s Black Wall Street and raised in South Central Los Angeles, he is the proud father of five!
