Why Do We Exist?

According to our survey data, many Black professionals in South Florida find themselves isolated or one of a few in their workplaces and neighborhoods and feel disconnected from like-minded individuals with similar cultural and economic backgrounds.

Our Mission is connect and engage them both online and offline. Our Vision is to serve as a gateway between our Network and the business community at large

A respected and recognized professional organization with high visibility and credibility in the region, South Florida’s Black Professionals Network boasts a reach of over 15,000 local black professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners, and college students connected to thousands more by way of our online resources which include the top social media platforms and an online magazine

Are We Exclusive?

No. The events and online resources we host are designed to target Black professionals, however, membership is open to all professionals in support of our Mission and Vision. We believe in, advocate for, and support all efforts to increase Diversity in Business. 

Is There a Cost to Join?

No. Membership is free. We know professionals are busy people, so we’ve designed a network where there are no payments, complicated requirements or ongoing obligations.

Our conferences and workshops have featured both local and national personalities including Civil Rights legend Bob Moses, Screen Actor Lamman Rucker, FUBU co-founder J. Alexander Martin, and Eugene Pettis, the 1st African-American president of the Florida Bar, among others.
